Ukrainians love their numerous holidays and love to "celebrate" those holidays in grandeous fashion. It's not uncommon for Westerners to be taken aback at just how many "days of note" they observe, and the amount of fireworks and revelry that goes along with them, not to mention the vast amount of spirits consumed. Ukraines history that included Paganism and later Christianity can be attributed to the evolution of many of her current holidays and festivities.
Families always cherish the times spent on holidays together. In Europe, there are numerous attractions and destinations to take your family holidays, and it is important to plan well in advance to avoid unnecessary stress and hassles. There is no denying traveling with children takes a lot more energy and creativity to prepare, but this dilemma is eased with a lot of deals and packages designed for families with small children.
Good news for South African tourism is that the country was names as one of the developing world's Ten Best Ethical Travel Destinations in the 2008 Ethical Traveller Report. Ethical Traveller, a US-based organisation, compiles their ethical destination reports to help travellers plan holidays that "support human rights and the environment". The ten countries are not ranked on any scale, but are instead listed alphabetically.
If there is one thing every family should do each year then it is take a holiday together. There are so many reasons why this is should be top priority and even if money is tight there are many ways to enjoy a break together without the need for breaking the bank.
